Sappada is a charming mountain village located at about 1,200 meters above sea level, nestled between the Sesto Dolomites and the Carnic Dolomites, in the province of Udine and crossed by the Piave River.
It is famous for its natural beauty, Ladin culture and well-preserved Alpine traditions.
In winter it is an ideal destination for cross-country skiing, downhill skiing (it is part of the Dolomiti Nordic Ski area) and snowshoe excursions, while in summer it offers trekking, mountain biking, climbing and beautiful walks in the woods. The apartment enjoys a charming location as well as being central to the main tourist attractions of the town and therefore allows easy access, in winter, both to the ski slopes of Sappada 2000 and to the family attractions of Nevelandia, making it a strategic choice for those who want to spend a holiday full of fun and relaxation. Main Attractions: -Sappada Center: 13 minutes on foot; -Sauris and Lake Sauris (UD): 45 minutes by car; -San Candido (BZ): 1 hour and 10 minutes by car; -Tolmezzo (UD): 1 hour by car; -Lienz (Austria): 1 hour and 30 minutes by car. -Laite Restaurant: 1 minute on foot; -Pizzeria da Renato: 2 minutes on foot; -Pasticceria Bar Alpino: 13 minutes on foot; -Dr. Loaldi Pharmacy: 12 minutes on foot; -Cardis Food Store (Market): 14 minutes on foot. -By public transport: There is no direct bus connection between Udine and Sappada.
